Being 19 years old, im part of a generation that views boredom as if it were a death sentence. As we scanned through all the television channels. We complained there was nothing on all day. Which of course changed nothing. Maybe in the back of our minds we hoped the television networks would miraculously change their entire scheduled line up. Sitting in front of us was a Wii, which, we ruled out because it was too boring. Even my smart-phone. Capable of doing thousands of different objectives. I looked at and shrugged. To myself I said it was just too boring. Is it sad myself and others from my generation think this way? Absolutely. Honestly it takes a lot to truly please me. Which the same can be said for all of my friends. We view the in black and white. Not the colorful vision hippies had throughout the 60’s and 70’s. Is there anyway to correct our vision of the world? Its possible but would require one signifying moment in history to pull us alk together as one.
