Today on Tech In A Sec we talk about the move Minority Report and it becoming a reality with new technologies on the way. Mainly Huawei’s new 3D gesture tracking technology that they’re spending a massive amount on their budget on for their next generation of smartphones and tablets.

Apparently Huawei has partnered with CERN, the people responsible for the Large Hadron Collider. Through this partnership, CERN has gathered 15 Petabytes of physics information to make their next phones the best possible.

Welcome to Tech In A Sec! This is the show where I take some of the latest technology based stories and share them with you! You can expect to see everything from Smartphone news to Sci Fi technology becoming a reality.

Today I discuss CERN, the group in charge of the Large Hadron Collider. Their mission is to slam atoms together near the speed of light in the largest man-made machine ever built in order to find something being called the “God Particle.” Scientists state this particle shortly existed immediately following the creation of our universe and the discovery of these particles could help lead to amazing technological advances in the human race.

The project was slated for completion around December of this year but it seems things are coming along much better than perviously imagined and it’s possible we could find the particles as early as this Summer.

Cell-Phones Present and Future

Our cell-phones are a combination of several technologies. We took computers, cameras, GPS systems, phones, and game consoles and combined them all into one. Personally, I would rather have our currently technology than a flying car any day. We have made our lives and difficult tasks much easier to accomplish.

Current phones boast up to dual-core 1GHz processors, giving you blazingly fast speeds. If you look at how fast technology is currently expanding, one can only imagine the future of our phones. Say five-years from now, what will our phones be like? In my opinion, we will start seeing phones shy away from hand-held devices. Potentially we could see phones integrated into wrist-wear. Something like the ‘Omni-Tool’ seen in the Mass Effect series. As well, it wouldn’t surprise me if phones became part of our clothing or even our glasses.

But how powerful will these devices be? How fast technology is advancing, one could assume our current day computers will be outperformed by our phones in two-to-three years. How about our gaming consoles like the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3? It’s already been said these consoles are outdated and phones are slowly taking over the gaming market. But just how fast are the graphical powers of our phones expanding? By five-years from now, I think it’s safe to say something like your little iPhone or Android device would destroy consoles.

Many years from now its up in the air as to what direction cell-phones will be headed. It could all be inserted within our bodies with integrated computer chips. But that’s a massively wild assumption. People once assumed we would have flying cars by now. I think each generation just sees the future in their own unique way.

Should we be scared of what our future holds? We face bigger challenges than the entire human race has faced before. New enemies, encountering the dangers of space, and the development of dangerous technologies.

As Stephen Hawking said, “We are just an advanced breed of monkeys on a minor planet of a very average star. But we can understand the universe. That makes us something very special.”

In order to break this mold of being distant relatives of monkeys. We have to prove ourselves to the universe. We must strive for the advancement and the protection of our race. Our first big mission should be our arrival on Mars. Not with a robot, but our own two feet. To say we have stepped foot on another planet is a far greater accomplishment than stepping foot on our own local moon.

Will the day ever come that we can actually leave our Solar System? I believe so, but that will more than likely be after even my life-time. Currently we aren’t expected to arrive on Mars even within the next ten-years. So travel past the outer asteroid belt and into the depths of the Milky Way galaxy is a feat for our ancestors. All we can do is lay the ground work for the advancement of the human-race.

I have always been mystified a astonished by technology. From our cell phones to our gaming consoles, it seems we’re beginning to integrate everything into one. Even five years from now, our phones will be exceptional gaming devices. They’ll have the power of current day computers, do more than our computers of today can do. And the cameras will be far beyond what we would expect. I love seeing how things change from each passing year. Ultimately our phones will somehow become integrated to better suit us. By this I mean there will soon be the day cell-phones will no longer be handheld devices.

About Me

I came to YouTube and created this website all to share my hobby and love for technology. As well, this has become a great stress relief for me. Specifically, my vlog seriez on my YouTube channel called Vlogsome. I have been able to express myself and get things off my chest that I really wouldn’t have a chance to with all of this.

Now YouTube isn’t just a hoby for me or something I want to do in the short term. I’m truly I’m this for the long haul. I want to make YouTube my business, my job, my life essentially. I want to be able to live off of revenue generated from doing what I love. Making videos. More specifically, vlogs and tech videos.

Now in the short term I’m just gonna keep making my current style of videos. At least until I can reach YouTube partnership. At that point I may incorprorate some sort of giveaways and product reviews once I make enough from the partnership program. Now when it comes to the long term. Lets say a couple years from now. I see myself with a job as well my business of running this website and my YouTube channel. I will register the iVidify name as a legal business. As well, I will be 21 at that time and I do expect to be in more own place. Which would make it 1000x easier to produce YouTube videos. Now worrying about other people and creating a better look for my videos will be great.

It’s been a year since I’ve truly held a job, and it’s really taken a toll on me. Having to really on others to afford my cell-phone, car, and gas is really demeaning. It has made me feel like a failure. All the stress that has come with wondering if I can keep my car or even my phone bothers day-in and day-out. Viewers watching my videos have even said they can see im unhappy or angry. And they were 100% correct. After going back and watching some recent videos. My happiness has disappeared. But thankfully, I feel like things are starting to change. Over the past two-days my attitude has started to change 180 degrees. Thursday I have my final interview with an amazing company, and I feel very confident as the interview approaches. Friday I have an interview to be a Personal Assistant, and Saturday I have an interview with a new local tech-company. 3 interviews over 3 days is amazing in my eyes. I went months without any and now im receiving multiple. I look forward to seeing what one of these potential jobs could hold for me. Come back to this website and my YouTube channel for updates on how things are going.

Recently I attempted to make a video in hopes of finding someone who could become a potential YouTube business partner and friend. Which basically means someone that I could work with currently and help each other expand and grow. Develop bigger followings on the web, and develop new friendships in this massive world of YouTube. After just a short-time of the video being “live” it was brought to my attention that maybe now is not the time or the place to do this. With a micro following of only 140 subscribers on YouTube, it makes sense that I would not receive many responses to my request. I have decided to suspend this adventure until some point in the coming future.
YouTube is a land-scape that none can predict. Over the past three months I have slowly built up to the point im at now. I earned the minute amount of followers that I currently have with over 100 videos I crafted. I knew this was the hill I had to climb. I knew that it would take countless hours of work to build a foundation for my future on YouTube. I could potentially spend the next coming year grinding my way up to a few-thousand subscribers. Or, I could have someone with a much bigger following than mine find my videos one day. I could have one person recommend a video on Twitter or in their comments and my whole world could flip upside down. There is on YouTuber that serves as a great example. Shay Carl. He used to make “rant” videos years back, he had a minute following such as myself. But he was discovered by Phil DeFranco who receives around 1.5 million views a DAY at this point. Phil recommended Shay, and where is Shay at now? He moved to Los Angeles to continue his YouTube career and has 1 million subscribers. So as you can see, YouTube is unpredictable, the only thing to do is continue what I do at this point in time. I will continue to push each-and-every video. I will continue networking with other YouTubers and try to make the best product I potentially can.
